A Message from Our Founder
Hi, I’m Scott Wyatt, founder of West Virginia Medicaid Advisors.
Nearly 30 years ago, my first experience with nursing homes came when my Nana—who raised five children alone after losing my grandfather—developed dementia. She worked tirelessly as a waitress, setting aside what she could to protect her family from future hardship. Starting her family during the Great Depression and later losing her spouse made life incredibly difficult, yet she persevered.
When Nana entered a nursing home, we were told we had to spend down all her savings. That painful experience taught me that well-intentioned advice from non-experts can cause a family to lose a lifetime of savings. Please don’t let that happen to yours.

How are we different?
Reasonable Fees
We charge a fraction of the cost that other professionals would charge for the same information. When needed, we have attorneys that we retain to prepare any legal documents that are necessary.
In-House Applications
We handle all Medicaid applications in-house. We do not refer you on to someone else to handle the application for a separate fee.
Time Spent
We spend 100% of our time on Medicaid Eligibility. This is all we do each and every day - nothing else!
